We are there! That time of the year that is filled with anticipation as the Christmas decorations go up, the song playlists in the shops shift to carols, baking is stepped up a notch and our diaries get fuller with Christmas dinners and events. As Christians, we have a deeper anticipation as we embark on the journey of Advent.

Advent is the build-up and preparation for Christmas; the expectant waiting for the celebration of the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, the coming of our King!

Through this year’s advent series, we hope to spark something in one another as we seek to celebrate the reason for the Christmas

season and serve those within our reach filled with more than just the Christmas spirit.

And as we do, we thought what better way to do this than to invite external Gospel partners to spark something in us this Christmas. Three different voices that seek to see Gospel advancement through their different churches and communities in our great nation. Let me introduce you to the 3 men that will serve us this Advent through preaching:
02 December – David Kobedi, a Pastor from Christ Church Midrand
09 December – Cameron Shabangu, Church planter & lead pastor of Redpost Church in Rondebosch
16 December –  Zwai Zulu, the Wits Campus Director for Campus Outreach and an elder at Rosebank Union.
