Bruce is married to Jo and they have two children, Rachael and Liam. They have lived in Joburg for the past 10 years but hail from Durban and spent a couple years living in the UK.
Bruce grew up in a multi-generational Christian home and his father was an elder and church planter in their local community of Westville. He became a Christian at an early age but, by his own admission, only really started to understand what following Jesus meant towards the end of his teen years and continues to learn every day. Bruce has been involved in Youth and Gospel Community ministry leadership since his 20’s. He and Jo have led and hosted GC groups in their home almost continually since they married. He currently sits on the GC leadership team at BBC.
He has a BSc in Construction Management and an MBA which have allowed him to have a career spanning construction, telecommunications and food. He currently leads the South African arm of World Vision International – a global Chistian relief, development and advocacy organisation.
Bruce loves traveling (50 countries so far), music and building things with his hands. His greatest joy has been watching his children come to faith and continuing to watch them work out their own relationship with Jesus.
