Churches can be hard places to visit for the first time. We often walk in with many questions, look around at a bunch of unfamiliar faces, unsure of what our experience will be. So, we thought we would try alleviate some of those anxieties by letting you know what is important to us and hopefully, share as much of a picture of what you can expect through our website as accurately and honestly as possible.
Services: Our services are dynamic and fun-filled community times. You can anticipate a mix of singing, preaching and community news.
Our preaching is multi-voice, meaning we have a rotation of multiple preachers who may be preaching on a Sunday. We have two more frequent voices, in elders Badi Badibanga and Kevin Aldridge, with other pastors and guest preachers who will preach from time to time.
Our services are preceded and followed by times of hanging out over a cup of tea or coffee. We meet as a church at four different times on a Sunday.
1st service: 08h00 – 09h15 2nd service: 10h00 – 11h15
3rd service: 16h00 – 17h15 4th service: 18h00 – 19h30
Dress Code: Lots of people stress about what they should wear to church. At BBC you should come as you are. From hipster skinnies to accountant chinos. From safari suits to Sunday best… wear what is most comfortable, all are welcome.
Kids & Youth: We have great facilities and an awesome volunteer team at our Next Gen Kids Ministry. Next Gen is our children’s ministry for children between the ages of 6 months and Gr 6. These programmes run during our 08h00, 10h00 & 16h00 services.
